Rob is a trained actor from the UK, completing his degree at Trinity College and then working in professional shows around the UK. He has performed in Theatre in Education corporate projects at the National Botanical Gardens, and the National Museum of Welsh Life. In his short time in the Okanagan he has become a recognised name in the Kelowna theatre scene, winning Best Actor at the 2004 Kelowna One Act festival, and being named Best Actor of 2007 by Glenna Turnbull in her Capital News arts column. Rob has performed in numerous shows at Kelowna Actors Studio, worked on radio commercials for Sun and Silk FM, and produced previous award winning shows for Fred Skeleton Theatre.

Marlena Mason-Brown is a native of Edmonton, Alberta where she attended the theatre program at Victoria School of the Performing and Visual Arts. Marlena then went on to attend Red Deer College to complete her training in theatre and film. After College, she was involved in Edmonton’s Carnival of Shrieking Youth, the Shakespearian troupe Theatre Prospero, and The Edmonton Fringe Festival. Productions in Kelowna have included The Vagina Monologues as well as The Laramie Project and The Man of La Mancha for Kelowna Actors Studio, and Macbeth for Shakespeare Kelowna. She started Fred Skeleton Theatre with Rob Mason-Brown in 2005 when they did the play, The Universal Language, for Kelowna Actors Studio’s One Act Festival, in which they won best production.

An award winning actor with numerous plays, films and television parts to his credit Cameron Gordon is well known in the Okanagan Theatre Community. His voice is also known on radio throughout the country. Cameron has worked in the Okanagan as an actor for over a decade and has worked with every Theatrical company in the Okanagan plus understands the many companies, amateur and professional alike. He has sat on the boards of Theatre Kelowna and Shakespeare Kelowna, where he served as President for 3 years, and has run his own theatre company,StageWorks, at the venue which later evolved into the Kelowna Actors Studio. He is a recipient of the 2005 Okanagan Angel Award for ‘Largest Individual Contribution to Theatre in the Okanagan”. His background in business and marketing make him an important member of the Fred Skeleton team.
